Shipping Policy

The Camcorder Co LLC is committed to delivering your rental equipment in a reliable and timely manner. Please review this policy carefully as it governs all shipments and returns.
1. Delivery Timing
We ship camcorder rentals to arrive 4–6 days before your scheduled event date, with a guaranteed minimum delivery of 48 hours before your event. This buffer is intentional and designed to give you time to test the equipment and feel confident before your big day, while also accounting for:
Carrier delays
Weather disruptions
Logistics issues outside of our control
You are responsible for ensuring your shipping address and event timing are accurate at checkout. To accommodate changes to your delivery date, please contact us at least 6 weeks before your scheduled delivery. Adjustments made within this window may not be guaranteed.
2. No Guaranteed Delivery Dates
We work with third-party carriers. While we plan shipments carefully, we do not guarantee specific delivery dates. We are not liable for delays caused by:
Shipping carriers
Weather conditions
Incorrect or incomplete shipping information
Missed deliveries or failed delivery attempts
3. Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers are fully responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address and for being available to receive the package. Once a package has been delivered to the address provided, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address entered at checkout or packages left unattended after delivery.
4. Shipping Included
All rentals include:
Outbound shipping to your provided address
A prepaid return shipping label
Packaging for safe return of equipment
If a replacement shipment is required due to a verified equipment issue, we will provide additional shipping at our discretion.
5. Return Shipping Requirements
Equipment must be returned using the provided prepaid return label. Returns must be shipped on or before the first business day following the expiration of your rental period (72 hours after your event date). Returns on holidays or Sundays may be made the next business day without penalty. You must:
Drop off at an authorized carrier location
Retain proof of shipment (receipt or tracking confirmation)
Failure to provide proof of return may result in the equipment being considered unreturned. If you lose your return label, contact us at hello@thecamcorderco.com and we will provide a replacement at no charge.
6. Late Returns
Late returns incur a fee of $35 per day. If equipment is not returned within 5 days past the due date, we reserve the right to charge the full replacement cost. A Loss of Use Fee may also apply for each day the Equipment is unavailable for future rentals due to late return.
7. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. If a package is lost in transit before delivery, we will work with the carrier to investigate and a replacement may be issued at our discretion. We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
8. Shipping Limitations
We currently ship within the United States only
We do not ship on federal holidays
Delays may occur during peak seasons
We plan to expand shipping availability internationally in the future
